Beason is a village located in Logan County, Illinois, United States. It has a total area of 0.2 square miles (0.4 km²), all of it land. The village had a population of 187 people in the 2020 census.
The town was named after a local family, the Beasons, who were early settlers in the area. The first post office was established there in 1872, and the village was officially incorporated in 1887.
